- Be prepared with a charged laptop, notebook, pencils
- Sit in the front of the classroom
- Make friends with one classmate in each class so you can have a contact
- Don't be afraid to stick around after class to ask questions and always introduce yourself to your professor after the first day
- Active listening (No hoods, sit up straight, don't sleep, no sunglasses)
- Technology in the classroom can be not only distracting to you but to others. Sit in the back if you have a laptop
- Sit in the front row, it seriously makes a difference and helps create a rapport with your professor
- Research your classes and how far away they are - you may not be able to make a mile in 15 mins
- Once you leave for the day, don’t go back to your room until classes are done. Otherwise you’re not going to leave your room again
- Make use of computer labs and spaces at IU libraries for Individual Work, Study, or Virtual Meetings
- Schedule your classes around YOUR schedule
- Make sure you have enough time in between classes
