Coursework is built on a foundation of guest speakers, campus tours, campus engagement and activity assignments, in-class discussions, and strategies for organization and study skills. Many opportunities for multicultural dialogue and forming new friendships!
During class, we do stuff like dissect the library, talk choices with our colleagues at the CDC, explore the Mathers, and much more!
The culminating assignment is a campus engagement project where students get involved in a student organization or other volunteer opportunity in the IU Bloomington community.

I learned about a lot of different amenities IU has to offer that I didn't know about prior to taking the course. It allowed me to look at IU with more open eyes and as a result, it felt more like home a little bit more every week.
