Each year, the instructor chooses a unique topic to help you explore these skills in meaningful ways. The topic this year is the culture of New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina. Topic exploration

You will study the history, georgraphy, and cultural aspects of New Orleans, as well as varying perspectives on Katrina.

Building transferrable skills

You will learn to break down scholarly writing; interpret, assess, and build arguments; and cite evidence and sources to support your arguments.
