X152: The Right Start Online
In this online version of X152, (graded A-F) you will get a personalized introduction to IU Bloomington and an inside peek into the tips and tricks of being a successful college student. Topics covered include academic and cultural resources on the IU campus, how college is different from high school, time management, study skills, and how to use Oncourse, drop a class, apply for financial aid, and whatever else you need to know but might be afraid to ask!
In this class, you will explore resources at IU, use an online forum to discuss weekly topics, and read a book of case studies illustrating common first year experiences. You will also complete an inquiry project in which you explore a topic of interest to you. With only 15 students per class, X152 offers students a chance to connect to an instructor in a personalized learning environment.
