Individualized Academic Assessment and Assistance
If a student is unsure about what their academic strengths and weaknesses may be, what kind of help they need, what learning skills classes may best serve their needs, or need help with a particular learning skill, the Individual Academic Assessment and Assistance Program offers the opportunity to explore all options before choosing a plan that is tailored specifically to their needs. This FREE service operates on a walk-in and schedule an appointment basis.
The staff can work intensively one-on-one with students on a long term basis as well, if needed. Students who have learning disabilities or who are in academic difficulty can benefit greatly from such help. Advisors, faculty and parents who have students that they feel could benefit from this form of academic support, or students themselves should contact Sharon Chertkoff at the SAC or by e-mail, schertko@indiana.edu.
